Ohio’s Consumer Outcomes Data Mart
Ohio's public mental health system uses a standardized approach to measuring consumer outcomes.
The Outcomes System in place is designed for use by consumers and clinicians in treatment for use
in quality improvement activities, and to provide accountability to the legislators and taxpayers of Ohio.
To assure that consumers, family members, providers, boards and others could access and use the
Outcomes data, a Consumer Outcomes Data Mart was constructed. The Data Mart allows users to call
up reports for the entire state, for local agencies or boards, or for specific groups of
people based on a few essential demographic characteristics. The Data Mart was designed to be
easy to use, but assistance is also available.
